The Smart Fortwo does meet safety regulations in the USA. It would be perfect for driving around in a small town which are my needs. My Chrysler dealer here in Ozark, AL 36360 is trying to get information on one, so I can possibly buy it. Maybe the auto dearlers are crazy, but I think they could sell a lot of these cars. I have checked, and State Farm Insurance will insure them, and the state of Alabama will license them if they meet the federal safety and anti theft federal guidelines for cars.
