Intro to Pickleball

This is a multi-week program designed to get you going quickly in learning and playing Pickleball for Fun! In just a few weeks you should be having a fun sociable Pickleball open play with you old and new friends on the court, and get some exercise without even noticing it.

Prerequisites

  • None! While having some prior experience with racket sports will help you get started quicker, it is not required

  • If you have severe mobility limitation, we can still make it fun. Reach out to me to discuss if you have concern.

What to Bring

  • water bottle and sun screen if playing outside

  • wear tennis shoes - running exercise shoes are ok for the first week or two

  • do not buy a paddle if you do not have one already, I will provide paddles. Do no buy unknown paddle on Amazon just yet

What you will learn

  • the very basic, simplified rules of Pickleball

  • how to hit and return the ball with ease

  • basic serve and return

This is a class designed for new players. If you have played Pickleball for a bit and want to improve your game, please reach out for coaching designed for intermediate players.
