You can always read the USAP Official Rule book for the specifics
Stroke Mechanics

Minimal backswing - keep stroke compact, this is not tennis!
Wrist flexed to maintain paddle-face angle and consistancy

Court Rotation and Queuing
2 on 2 off when there are 2-3 players waiting, and 4 on 4 off using a double paddle queue for new players

Court Etiquette
Always tap paddles at match’s end - thank your partner and opponents
“Ball!” call when your ball strays into another court
Gear and Resources
Always wear eye protection and court shoes
Paddles: I recommend the Gamma Obsidian 16 for intermediate level play, the Gamma Rainmaker for beginner play (use the discount code)
Use outdoor balls for outside play or indoor courts with rough surfaces
Use indoor balls (26 holes, larger holes) for smooth gym-floor courts
Join the Lexington Pickleball Club (free!) for ongoing play opportunities, workshops and events
